The Home2 Suites by Hilton Richland is actively looking for full time fun and energetic Night Auditor. We are looking for who is friendly, empathetic, reliable, and want to work as part of a team!

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrives to work on-time and ready to begin shift in appropriate work attire (uniform, foot wear, name tag) neat and professional in appearance.
  • Acknowledges our guest with a smile and friendly "hello." Promptly attends to guest needs.
  • Displays a positive "can do" attitude and thinks outside the box while going above and beyond for all of our guests.
  • Demonstrates a team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks, even if outside specific job duties.
  • Keeps up-to-date on in-house groups and functions (reviews group cover sheets to be aware of special needs and requests.
  • Holds self and others accountable for achieving results.
  • Answers and transfers calls in a timely and courteous fashion.
  • Manages all aspects of the reservations process.
  • Effectively handles all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints. Confirms guest needs have been met.
  • Complies with guest privacy standards.
  • Acts as point of contact during an emergency. (Familiar with all emergency procedures as documented in hotel emergency manuals).
  • Accurately handles in-house accounts including guest names, room charges, methods of payment, special requests, etc.
  • Handles services for guests including guest mail, messages, telephone calls, faxes, wake-up calls, and general inquiries.
  • Confirms guest satisfaction at check-out Performs daily reporting requirements based on specific hotel needs.
  • Ensures full pass down of information from shift to shift at the Front Desk and other departments as needed.
  • Register guests and assign rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Check guests out efficiently.
  • Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
  • Comply with unit cash handling, credit and check cashing policies and procedures.
  • Complete daily checklist tasks.
  • Keep front desk area clean and presentable for guests.
  • Practice positive guest relations by demonstrating Western states Lodging & Management hospitality and service standards.
  • Be knowledgeable of all brand specific front desk requirements and current promotions.
  • Be knowledgeable and capable of operating current brand property management system.
  • Ensure hotel loss prevention policies are executed and enforced.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when needed to ensure guest complaint resolution.
  • Audit guest accounts to ensure that room rates and market codes are correct and congruent.

Requirements:

  • Open schedule availability required.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Computer skills are a plus.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching.
  • Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Smile and provide a pleasant place for our guests.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • OnQ Property Management system experience preferred.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
